You can be the hands and feet of Jesus while meeting the physical and spiritual needs of people in Tanzania.

At Temple Church, we partner with local pastors and leaders in Tanzania and ask, “How can our Team come alongside you and your community?” Your trip will be spent serving alongside these incredible people to meet the needs of individuals and families. There are a variety of ministry opportunities, including children’s programs, community outreach, and conference events. By working alongside these indigenous leaders, your impact will last long after you return home. 

No matter what your skillset, God can use you to accomplish his will. If you are sensing a call to missions, He will equip you to do what he has called you to do.

For 2024, one unmet goal we have is to come alongside the church in Tanzania as it pertains to some of their fixed expenses. The breakdown of those costs are below:

• Night watchmen: about $84 per month
• ​​​​​​Meals program at the Nursery School: about $200 per month with a current enrollment of 61 children
• ​​​​​​Sewing instructor: about $92 per month
• English instructor: about $133 per month

Would you prayerfully consider how God may want to use you to support this Tanzanian church. All donations collected will go directly towards one of the above listed needs they have requested. ServiceReef, which is this missions management software, and Stripe, it’s financial service partner, collect a merchant fee of 1.8% and 2.2% + $0.30 per online donation or payment respectively. Please take these fees into consideration if you choose to give by an online donation. For example, if you were to give a $50.00 donation to a trip’s general fund or to a specific individual going on a trip then $0.90 would be collected by ServiceReef (1.8%) and $1.75 would be collected by Stripe (2.2% + $0.30), or $2.65 total taken out meaning that $47.35 would reach your intended recipient. To avoid any merchant fees you may want to give directly by cash or check, unless donating online with your credit/debit card is your preferred method of giving. Alternatively, using this scenario you could make an online donation of $52.65 to account for the merchant fee so that your recipient receives $50.00.
