The 2026 mission to Africa was a huge success. Here are the reasons why I believe it was such a success.
First, it was well planned and organized. The monthly meetings led by Doug at Marion‘s house equipped us not only organizationally but spiritually.
Second, we had very mature believers. Believers that wanted to serve and do so in such a sacrificial way that was such an honor to serve with this team.
Thirdly everybody knew their role. Again, going back to the meetings every month this helps shape everyone’s understanding of what their goal was to be and how they could come together as a team to fulfill the mission.
Lastly, I believe that God was honored. Jesus was glorified, and the Holy Spirit can testify to the goodness and mercy of this mission.
From the women’s conference in Tonga, to the service in Sanju and the VBS at Esther orphanage, to the mission and VBS at Meikilidi B,
To the team working together, it was a blessing to serve in this capacity.
I felt like we were in a New Testament setting, where we had no other choice, but to trust God to follow him at his word to enjoy the fellowship to endure the hardship and work together for the glory of God.
Much appreciation to the mission leader, Doug Reinhardt, his wife, Kathy, Amy, and Joy Forrest and leading the women in Tonga.
Much appreciation to Tripp, Marion, Kim, Yvette, and Temple church for their prayers and support in us working with our partners in Tanzania and all the good folks in that region.
