You can be the hands and feet of Jesus while meeting the physical and spiritual needs of people in Tanzania.
At Temple Church, we partner with local pastors and leaders in Tanzania and ask, “How can our Team come alongside you and your community?” Your trip will be spent serving alongside these incredible people to meet the needs of individuals and families. There are a variety of ministry opportunities, including children’s programs, community outreach, and conference events. By working alongside these indigenous leaders, your impact will last long after you return home.
No matter what your skillset, God can use you to accomplish his will. If you are sensing a call to missions, He will equip you to do what he has called you to do.
For 2025, one goal we have is to come alongside the church in Tanzania as they purpose to make Jesus known thru Women's ministries, Children's ministries, and community projects. These all come at a cost. Though we have built some of the expenses into our individual Project Costs, we would value and appreciate any donation dollars to use towards meals and supplies for the conference attendees and the Children's ministry sites.Would you prayerfully consider how God may want to use you to support this Tanzanian church. All donations collected will go directly towards one of the above listed needs they have requested. You may give by cash, checks made to Temple Church with “Tanzania Trip 2025” in the memo, or by online donation here. ServiceReef, which is this missions management software, and Stripe, it’s financial service partner, collect a merchant fee of 1.8% and 2.2% + $0.30 per online donation or payment respectively. Please take these fees into consideration if you choose to give by an online donation. For example, if you were to give a $50.00 donation to a trip’s general fund or to a specific individual going on a trip then $0.90 would be collected by ServiceReef (1.8%) and $1.75 would be collected by Stripe (2.2% + $0.30), or $2.65 total taken out meaning that $47.35 would reach your intended recipient. To avoid any merchant fees you may want to give directly by cash or check, unless donating online with your credit/debit card is your preferred method of giving. Alternatively, using this scenario you could make an online donation of $52.65 to account for the merchant fee so that your recipient receives $50.00.

Requirements
Prerequisites
- Application

- Passport
- Visa
- Vaccine (Yellow Fever vaccine is mandatory. Any others will be at the travelers discretion)
Responsibilities
- Evangelism
- Working with children and their families
- Share your testimony
- Attend and participate in church services in Tanzania
- Cooperate with the team to accomplish tasks
- Facilitate Women’s conference (if we have the skillset on the team)
- Preaching (if we have the skillset on the team)
Restrictions
- Member of Temple Church or a like-minded church
- At least 18 years old or 13 and above when accompanied by a parent serving at the same site
- Healthy enough to navigate the rigors of International Travel
Preparation
- For the 2025 Team, attend interest meeting (To be announced)
- Complete the appropriate Missions Application(s)
- Start working on obtaining a valid Passport if you do not have one
