Black Mountain Trip 2026 (Western NC)

***All participants must have an unexpired background check with Temple Church on file. Once you’ve registered, a member of staff will contact you if a background check is needed.***

Come and serve with Hurricane Helene Rebuild. We are in need of skilled and unskilled volunteers to help with this first rebuild phase which will get people back into their home and make it safe, sanitary and functional (not finished). Although you do not need to have expertise in construction, participants must be able bodied and physically capable of the work. 
 

Schedule (6 day trip)

- July 12th we will leave Temple Church to our lodging location assigned by Baptist on Mission.

- July 13-16th we will work four full days

- July 17th traveling back to Temple Church
 

Cost:
$200 per person
(Meals on-site will be covered by Baptists on Mission, but you will need to pay for your own meals when we stop for food on the drive). We will car pool to the location, so we may ask if a few participants to drive their personal vehicle to transport if they are willing.

Lodging:
Baptists on Mission will be housing volunteers in a number of different churches. In most all housing locations they are able to have mobile shower units and provide meals and coordinate all work. If you have tools, please bring them.
